MOON — Tra Terra e Spazio

Notice

Accessibility

Last updated: September 2026

Our commitment

We want the MOON website to be easy for everyone to use, including people browsing with a screen reader, with the keyboard only or with enlarged text.

The site is designed following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the international standard referenced by the European standard EN 301 549.

How we check it

On 29 September 2026 every page of the site, in Italian and in English, was checked with automated testing tools (axe-core). No errors were found, with the exception described below.

Automated checks do not cover every criterion in the guidelines: that is why every report from visitors helps us find and fix what still does not work.

What is not yet accessible

The "Telescopes Through History" timeline, on the In Depth page, uses low-contrast colours on the dark background for some categories, and the telescope cards open with a mouse or a tap but not with the keyboard. We are working to fix it.

In the meantime, if you need the content of the cards, write to us at infomoon@monimo.it and we will send it to you as text.

Ticket office and external services

Tickets are bought online on the Ticka ticket office, a service external to this website: its accessibility depends on the platform's operator. The same applies to the Google map and to our social media profiles.

If you have trouble buying online, you can buy tickets at the JMuseo ticket desk during opening hours, or write to us.

No disability-related tracking

The site does not use any tools, its own or third-party, that make it possible to infer whether a visitor has a disability or uses assistive technologies.

Measurement tools are only activated with your consent and are described in the Cookie Policy.

Report a problem

If part of the site does not work for you, or you need content in a different format, write to us at infomoon@monimo.it telling us the page and the problem you ran into. We will reply within 30 days.

Visiting the exhibition

The spaces are designed to be accessible. For specific accessibility needs, we invite you to contact us in advance so we can make your visit as smooth as possible.
